Hello to the entire team at the site!! I just wanted to write and say “Thank You for being such a wonderful Agency. Without you guys, I would not have met the wonderful woman whom I am dating there in Nikolaev, Ukraine. Even though we did not make our arrangements thru the Agency, we had a wonderful time together. My visit was from Nov. 1st thru Nov. 10th 2014. The weather was wonderful, the City was outstanding and I felt very welcomed there. My lady and our interpreter went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of and had everything that I needed. I highly recommend the use of this site and definitely recommend anyone to visit Ukraine. You will not be disappointed. In fact, I am returning in May 2015 for a two week stay. Hi, I understand about being nervous. I was to actually. Here I was traveling half way around the world, by my self into a place where nearly no one understands English. But I gathered my courage and set off for the trip. And what a trip it was. I am headed back again in May.
The people are very friendly and nice there. Ukraine is a beautiful country. Just go with an open mind and look beyond what you see.
I highly recommend the use of an interpreter. This was my largest expense while there, but the interpreter was worth her weight in gold. Definitely made the trip more enjoyable.
Take plenty of warm clothes. It will be very cold there. I went in November and it was already getting quite chilly. Do NOT exchange money at the Airport, especially if you fly into Odessa. I hate to say this but you kind of get ripped off. Go to a bank for the exchange. Banks are everywhere there.
Definitely partake in eating out and enjoying the local foods. It is awesome. If you are lucky enough as I was, your lady will cook for you. Man what awesome dishes.
To answer your question, yes!! I have found her. She is a very wonderful woman and I have definitely fallen in love with her.
Keep in mind the Ukrainian women are not like the women that you are used to. They are very smart, intelligent, and very cautious. So if you lady is skittish or standoffish for a few days, just give her the room and time. She will come around when she is ready. After all, both of you are complete strangers face to face.
My lady and I communicated for 9 months before I made the journey. During that time it was like we knew each other for years. Different story face to face. She took about 3 days to warm up to me. But it was all worth it!
