First and foremost, you have to think about whether you want your Russian wife to find a job in a western country or not.

I know this isn’t the romantic thing to say or think about. But it’s the most practical thing to consider in a marriage, particularly if you and your Russian bride are both down-to-earth people.

At the end of the day, marriage isn’t just about saying “I love you” all day long, okay? A real marriage involves many realistic things in life, e.g. household finances, how to interact with relatives and friends, whether you want to have children or not, how to raise kids, your children’s education, and so forth. You have to face the realism in a real marriage.

Therefore, you have to think about whether your Russian wife needs a job or not in a western country. Can you support her financially? Does she want to pursue a career? How are you going to plan and manage your savings in the bank?

Having said that, I know many western men who are married to Russian women are happy to financially support their wives 100% because these guys are high achievers – they don’t need their ladies to make money. But situations do vary.

Second, please think about whether your Russian bride needs to improve her English or not after moving to a western country.

In my opinion, if she doesn’t want to find a professional job, chances are she doesn’t need to improve her English. But if she would like to find a professional job in a western country, maybe she has to work on her English.

Although the IELTS test is run by Australia and the United Kingdom, it is widely recognized in North America and New Zealand as well. As a result, you may want to know something about the IELTS test if your foreign bride is looking to find a professional job in an English-speaking country.

Third, you probably need to consider if you should send your foreign wife to a western university.

Yes, sometimes this is necessary. For example, let’s say your Russian lady is in her early 20s and is keen to learn a new skill, thereby finding a good job in a western country. In that case, you may consider investing in her education so that she can become a professional woman who will be financially independent and teach her kids well in the future. That being said, there is a risk that you can’t ignore – after she has got her degree, the degree is hers, not yours. In other words, no matter what happens in the future, you probably can’t use her degree, especially when a break-up is involved. Well, I know this isn’t the most pleasant thing to talk about now, but it’s a potential result that might happen, although this possibility is quite small (we all know that the divorce rate is significantly lower amongst international marriages, whereas the divorce rate is at least 50% among domestic marriages in the United States).

After moving her to a western country, you possibly need to upgrade your social circle.

Interestingly, many high achievers in western countries are married to Eastern European women because they prefer attractive ladies rather than mainstream women in western countries. Indeed, most women from western countries aren’t very attractive because they are either overweight or unwilling to pay more attention to their looks. No wonder alpha men such as Donald Trump like Eastern European ladies.

Basically, that means if your current social circle is full of losers and mediocre people, you might have to change your social circle. Otherwise, your Russian bride will figure out that her real value is actually very high in a western country!

So, it’s your responsibility to make sure that you hang out with high-value friends from now on. However, you probably have to become a high-value man in the first place. Let me put it this way: Is it difficult for fancy surgeons to hang out with other fancy surgeons? Is it hard for millionaires to hang out with other millionaires? Definitely no. That’s because birds of a feather flock together. I mean if you’d like to have high-value friends, you need to become a high-value guy first. Yes, it’s time to invest in yourself now!

In contrast, China is a command economy; China is the best example of state capitalism. That’s why the Chinese government is the richest government in the world.

China has been among the world’s fastest-growing economies for years. Let’s say one day China becomes the world’s largest economy, then for the first time in recent human history, this world will have a non-English speaking country, a non-Western country, a non-liberal democratic country as the largest economy. This will affect how the world operates in future. Consequently, the United States sees China as a threat to the West.

From China’s point of view, the Chinese government knows that Western countries such as the United States fundamentally disagree with the Chinese political system, so the Chinese government has strictly implemented Internet censorship and media control. That’s why Mainland China doesn’t have access to YouTube and Google.

Because President Trump wants to offer Americans more jobs, he wants to start the technology cold war with China so more factories will be built in America rather than in China. That’s how President Trump uses business to play political games. So, the Sino-American tech war has made Foxconn receive fewer orders and their factories need to relocate.
