It turns out that everyone’s life is painful. Not just yours. That is about being a human in this world – you have to face a wide variety of challenges in life.

Having said that, adversity should make you stronger because:

- Because of adversity, you have learned the lessons and have grown out of it (or you’ll eventually grow out of it).
- What’s in the way becomes the way: You can always think outside the box and find creative ways to achieve what you desire.
Now hopefully you’ve understood why you can be happy in spite of the challenges in life. What’s more, you would be well-advised to be aware of the power of your thoughts. I call this “word power”, i.e., when you choose to think about positive words in your head, you have positive feelings and emotions, so your reality becomes better, too.
In other words, happiness is actually a decision that you can make. Here is how to be happy: decide every morning that you are in a good mood! Never underestimate the power of your mood – you have to feel good before good things happen for you – that’s how the universe responds to your vibration and your energy!
As I see it, when you radiate sparkling happiness while communicating with women on an online dating website, women want to be closer to you because you offer something that most people don’t offer: happiness!
- Exposure leads to attraction.
First of all, please allow me to explain how this attraction principle works by sharing with you an anecdote.
Do you know why office affairs are so common? That’s because exposure leads to attraction: When a man and a woman work in the same office for 8 hours a day & five days a week, they naturally feel attracted to each other as long as they are reasonably attractive people.
Interestingly, attraction and sales are very similar – When I was working for a department store in my early 20s, I had an interesting experience that made me figure out this attraction principle: Exposure leads to attraction – If more customers see our products, our sales will improve. That’s why I take other brands’ customers to my brand’s register when they ask me to put through the sale for them. Sometimes the customer would change their mind: they don’t want to buy the competitor’s shirt anymore because a shirt from my brand near the register looks better, so they pay for the shirt from my brand instead!
Example: A customer wants to buy a pair of socks and asks me to put it through for him.
ME: “Okay. Let’s go to that register.” (I take the customer to the register at my counter.)
CUSTOMER: “Thank you.”
The customer arrives at my brand’s register and notices the most expensive coat from my brand.
ME: “The mirror is here. You can try on this.”
CUSTOMER: “It looks pretty good.”
ME: “You look like the Prime Minister.”
CUSTOMER: “Oh. Really?”
ME: “Yes. It could be your hair.”
CUSTOMER: “Thank you.”
This customer purchases a pair of socks AND a high-end coat from my brand.
I give him a major compliment; based on his reaction, I don’t even talk about the high-end coat very much – I literally say “It could be your hair” so that the compliment sounds more natural and organic, but because nobody has said that to him before, he believes it must be the high-end coat, so he also purchases the coat when he pays for the socks. Frankly, men want to feel powerful and/or attractive. Men don’t necessarily want to look like objectively handsome movie stars. Compliments such as “You look like the Prime Minister / Prince Harry / James Bond” are highly effective because these compliments indicate power and status.
In contrast, women only want to look like famous women who are objectively good-looking, e.g., Miranda Kerr and Jennifer Aniston. Therefore, you can’t say, “You look like Julia Gillard / Nicole Kidman / Sarah Jessica Parker” to a woman. Don’t get me wrong. I strongly believe that Julia Gillard’s red hair looks great, Nicole Kidman is beautiful and Sarah Jessica Parker is the most stylish woman on the planet. I’m just saying these women’s beauty is slightly controversial.
From the above-mentioned anecdote, it can be seen that this attraction principle applies to online dating as well: when you are active on a dating website, more women will see your dating profile, so you will have more options! Good luck.
